Glass Reinforced Polyester (GRP) roofing is a specially adapted composite material made from a reinforced polyester resin that forms a tough, versatile and long lasting waterproof layer that can be applied to any substrate. General purpose resin for moulding is often thick and more rigid whereas flat roofing requires a specially blended resin that can be applied in a thin layer over a large area and the GRP flat roofing system has been designed to provide a thin, flexible and permanently watertight single ply membrane over any substrate. The GRP topcoat has special Ultra violet additives that will significantly reduce the harmful effects of the sun and keep the roof waterproof for decades. GRP is able to withstand extremes of temperature as well as being unaffected by chemicals.
